Local

attractions

Candlewyck Luxury B&B is just a 5-10 minute walk from Ulverston town centre whilst being set in its own seven acres of rural land, with glorious views up the valley and over the hills. A historic market town, Ulverston is widely known as the birthplace of Stan Laurel and Sir John Barrow. The town is overlooked by the Sir John Barrow monument on Hoad Hill, a replica of the Eddystone lighthouse built in 1850.

Ulverston canal links the town centre with Morecambe bay at Canal Foot making a lovely walk along the beach. The market town has a wonderful selection of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy during your stay.
